Specific Hazards
Specific hazard courses should be considered where work places have confined spaces, or are using high risk processes or chemicals within their operations.
Oxygen therapy may also be useful while maintaining a casualty’s condition or during CPR particularly for work places with large numbers of employees or visitors. Training in such equipment is essential before being used by first aiders.
Courses includes:
- Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy
- Treatment of Cyanide Exposure
- Treatment of Hyrdrofluoric Acid Exposure
- Entonox
A certificate of attendance will be awarded on completion of any of the above courses.
