REHIS Elementary Food HygieneCourse Duration: 1 Day Course Availability: Open Course or In-house Course OverviewThe Elementary Food Hygiene certificate is a first level Qualification in Food Hygiene and is nationally recognised in all areas of the food industry. The certificate is awarded to participants who have successfully completed the Elementary Food Hygiene Course and subsequent assessment. At this level, hazard analysis and the implementation of food safety systems based on HACCP principals is incorporated into the course content. Introductory and Intermediate REHIS courses are also available. REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene RefresherCourse Duration: 1/2 Day Course Availability: Open Course or In-house Course OverviewREHIS introduced this course in October 2009 in response to new guidelines. The Care Commission is recommending that the Elementary Food Hygiene Course be regularly updated. This half day course will refresh the accreditation, which should be carried out every 3 years. On successful completion of this course, delegates will receive a new REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate valid for a further 3 years.
